We apologize for the inconvenience, this online marketplace is not active. We are getting prepared to relaunch in 2023. Please contact us if you're a producer or consumer supporting the local food system: jason@montanacoop.com.
Welcome to our shared Montana marketplace with associated Food Hub's throughout the state that are working together to build a healthier and sustainable food system by integrating education, community, youth empowerment, indigenous traditions, and overall wellness programs. This is "Your" statewide Co-op marketplace to sell what you make (contact us), and purchase from local farmers, ranchers, value added food producers, and youth entrepreneurs. This market highlights locally produced foods and other Montana made products. This is why we refer to our marketplace as an "Online Farmer's Market." The food market is managed by Montana Co-op and the Kids Co-op. The Montana towns we plan to deliver custom local food boxes in 2023 will be in Lake, Sanders, and Flathead counties. We have an ambitious goal to serve every community in Montana with the development of a food hub to give everyone access to the most nutritious food possible, and expand beyond food to other Montana made products like Art, Body, Garden, Home, and Outdoor products. This market will flourish when everyone is cooperating on the shared mission to produce and consume more local foods, while participating in their own local Montana Co-op Food Hub.

THE MARKET IS NOW CLOSED!

If you would like to set up a delivery service to your town in Montana, please SIGN UP for free and we will work together on getting this same service and products delivered to your own "community driven" Food HUB! Once this is established, all of your local farmers and artists can sell into this shared online market.

For the benefit of our local food producers, please consider signing up for recurring orders of fruit, vegetables, and prepared foods. As an extra incentive we are offering a 5% discount on all recurring orders. If there is anything that we are selling that you would be willing to commit to purchasing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, please email us at info@montanacoop.com with the items and how frequently you would like them received.
For example, consider ordering of the items below every week: Remove "specialty pizza" and just integrate "Fresh Bread" in with the other items in the same black text: SH BREAD & SPECIALTY PIZZA "Fresh Bread, Lettuce, Cucumbers, Spinach, Eggs, Milk, Prepared Snacks, Beverages, Cheese, Meat, and more..."
SNAP ACCEPTED ON ALL FOOD ITEMS
Double your SNAP dollars on fruits & vegetables by using the online farmer's market store. In addition, any $20 SNAP purchase of fruits and vegetables is rewarded with a $20 coupon toward purchase of your next produce order!

Please browse our "Projects" above and join us in our Montana cooperation. The Montana Co-op was officially formed in 2012 to unite food producers and consumers together in a shared co-op business with the purpose of creating a local food system with many thriving community Food HUBs. To have a sustainable local food system, we must be involved in all aspects of the food chain, from garden to plate. We're educating and mentoring young and new farmers, adding value to the crops we grow by preparing value added food products and use those ingredients to make healthy meals.

The Montana Co-op is creating this local food system by establishing a statewide network of "community driven'' food hubs that work together and share resources. The process of starting a food hub begins with engaging the people through the Community Heart & Soul program to discover shared values, needs and vision for the future of the town or neighborhood. The Montana Co-op's first attempt of proving this concept of starting a "community driven" food hub started in Polson, MT in 2014-2017. See video. The second location is in Hot Springs and just entering Phase 2 of the Community Heart & Soul program.

The Kids Co-op is a local non-profit 501(c)3 that provides education, life skills, and experiences in civic service and many career tracks like producing and marketing local healthy food. The Kids Co-op board members are all youth and majority Native Americans. By cooperating, anything is possible.... including having a sustainable local food system.
